Job Overview
A law firm seeks a patent agent or technical advisor to join its patents team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 5G, Wi‑Fi, and other wireless technologies, artificial intelligence, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front‑end. This position offers location flexibility across all US offices.
Duties- Assist in patent prosecution and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and manage patent portfolios.
- Conduct research and analysis on technical matters.
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- At least two years of patent prosecution experience.
- Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or qualified to register.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
CertificationsUSPTO registration or eligibility to register.
Skills- Experience in wireless technologies and AI.
- Client liaison and portfolio management skills.
Autonomous vehicles, robotics, and related AI fields.
