Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales growth by evaluating quotation opportunities and developing technical solutions tailored to customer requirements within the electrical power distribution industry.
  • Prepare quotations, perform project costing, and support project handoff activities following order placement.
  • Partner closely with engineering and operations teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals for custom electrical distribution and control solutions.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of industry standards, market trends, and competitive products related to low and medium voltage power systems.
  • Drive follow-up efforts on active opportunities with channel partners, representatives, and customers, including:
    • Tracking proposal activity and forecasting potential orders
    • Monitoring customer engagement and product positioning
    • Providing consistent pipeline updates and opportunity feedback to leadership
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, customer interactions, and sales activity within CRM and configuration platforms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience within the electrical power industry, with direct experience selling or quoting switch gear, switchboards, power distribution equipment, or related electrical infrastructure products strongly preferred.
  • Proven background managing technical proposals and quotation processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, one-lines, technical drawings, relay/control panel layouts, and related documentation.
  • Strong understanding of low and medium voltage electrical systems and customer application requirements.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to navigate evolving processes and work effectively in deadline-driven environments.
