Project Engineer – API​/Chemical Manufacturing

The Project Engineer will support the execution of capital projects related to the installation, modification, and optimization of equipment and facilities. This role will partner closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to assist in planning, execution, and closeout of projects while gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle. Experience in a chemical facility or API facility is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all phases of the capital project lifecycle (planning, execution, and closeout) for projects up to ~$5MM, with guidance from senior team members
• Assist in evaluating and developing solutions for the design, procurement, and installation of new equipment or modifications to existing systems
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance, plant utilization, and overall efficiency
• Provide day-to-day technical support for equipment, facilities, and utilities, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Participate in root cause investigations and help implement corrective and preventative actions
• Support assessments of process equipment and control systems to identify opportunities for improvements in cycle time, yield, and quality
• Assist in developing spare parts strategies and maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance plant safety, maintenance practices, and environmental compliance
