We are seeking an Sr. Architect Manager to join our growing team in Japan. P rincipal areas of responsibilities include:
* Work with exp Federal senior leadership in Chicago to maintain exp Federal Pacific's registration as a licensed company to provide architecture and engineering services.
* Provide architectural design services for US government projects
* Provide top level oversight of project deliverables to ensure high quality and timely completion, within budget.
* Occasional serve as project manager for select projects
* Serve as Deputy Office Manager with the potential for promotion to Office Manager involving these additional responsibilities:
* Supervise office staff and develop local procedures, consistent with corporate policies and procedures, to run office and execute projects with high quality.
* Work with exp Federal senior leadership in Chicago to identify staffing requirements, recruit qualified candidates, and complete the hiring process with our HR staff.
* Work with exp Federal senior leadership to ensure we are complying with Japanese regulations regarding employment and business operations.
* Perform business development activities which include identifying opportunities for new contracts. forming relationships with exceptional partner companies, and other related actions. Engage diverse groups of clients, project stakeholders, and team members
* Work with proposal teams to produce SF330 Statement of Qualification packages, proposals, and other documents necessary for winning new contracts.
Required Qualifications:
* Degree in Architecture from an accredited University.
* Japanese First Class Architectural License;
* Ability to fluently speak and write both Japanese and English
* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience;
* Track record of exceptional performance;
* Experience in a variety of project market sectors,
Experience with facilities for clients in the Federal Government sector, especially US Department of Defense project in Japan, is highly desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
* Ability to utilize MS Office software
* Ability to travel throughout Japan on a regular basis (typically short duration trips of less than a week each) and occasionally to other locations outside of Japan. Salary Range:
This position has an annual range of ¥6, To ¥8, . The actual hourly is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. More
