Responsibilities
  • Attend industry networking events.
  • Assist with teaming and preparation of proposals to win new contracts.
  • Manage projects with State and Local Agencies from start to finish.
  • Manage staff and subconsultants.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate each phase of the projects with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Be the key contact with the client, and their consultants and representatives.
  • Provide construction oversight or manage project daily activities when needed.
  • Ability to mentor and train staff for leadership positions to help the department expand.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related program.
  • Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Current Documentation of Quantities Certification is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in highway and roadway projects.
  • Building and Roadway Construction Management experience.
  • Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, Tollway, and other agencies' systems and operations.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, including public speaking.
Pay range and compensation package

The compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skill set, and physical work location.
