Senior Scheduler

Position Overview:

The Senior Scheduler is responsible for delivering developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex project schedules across multiple departments and stakeholder  Projects may involve both new build and renovation projects. Attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must and it is essential that this person has good knowledge of construction techniques/technology and real estate markets.

What This Job Involves:

* Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and track project budgets.

* Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)

* Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to gather and analyze schedule-related information

* Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues

* Perform critical path analysis and risk assessments to ensure project timelines are realistic and achievable

* Generate and distribute regular schedule updates and progress reports to key stakeholders

* Conduct schedule impact analyses for proposed changes and develop mitigation strategies
• Mentor and guide junior schedulers, fostering their professional development

* Implement and maintain scheduling best practices and standards across the organization

* Participate in project meetings and provide expert scheduling insights and recommendations

* Identify and analyse potential risks that may impact project deliverables, timelines, or budgets.

* Research local, national and internal delivery times

* Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

* 7+ years of experience in project scheduling

* Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

* PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification or equivalent is preferred

* Expert-level knowledge of scheduling techniques and critical path method (CPM)

* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex information

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

-  USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
