Our Buildings division is a talented team of experts working together to deliver buildings and systems that perform better. We provide full‑service engineering and design services for both new and existing facilities. Ever focused on providing a first‑class client experience, our 30‑plus‑year history includes projects for school, university, healthcare, government, aviation, laboratory, campus, and municipal facilities.

• 5 to 10 years of mechanical experience, bachelor’s degree in engineering; A PE license is required.
• Advanced knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building codes for ventilation, humidity control, load calculations, and duct sizing techniques; key performance parameters for air handlers, pumps, chillers, temperature controls, ductwork accessories, heat exchangers and tanks, sustainable design; knowledge of architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection considerations.
• Proficiency with relevant business and engineering applications:
  Microsoft Office and Project, Google Docs, CAD methods and procedures, HVAC calculation software tools.
• People person: ability to work independently or in a team, positive attitude, enjoy developing relationships, able to delegate, mentor, and lead as required, exceptional presentation and communication skills.

• Design mechanical HVAC systems for new and existing buildings, including renewable and sustainable technologies; prepare calculations, drawings, specifications; perform condition assessments; assist with construction cost estimates; prepare punch lists; review shop drawings and resolve RFIs.
• Help manage projects: develop the work plan and conceptual designs; oversee budget, schedule, scope while ensuring adherence to Primera’s quality improvement and review processes.
