Product Development Engineer

Consumers products company needs a Product Development Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative consumer electronic products from concept through production. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with a strong technical foundation and leadership skills, who thrives in a fast‑paced, global manufacturing environment.

• Develop detailed assembly instructions and quality control (QC) procedures
• Design and implement production test fixtures
• Create effective packaging and retail display solutions
• Interface with UL and other regulatory agencies for product compliance
• Provide technical support to QC inspectors and resolve manufacturing issues
• Collaborate with overseas contract manufacturers to ensure product quality and timely delivery
• Proven experience designing high‑power LED circuits and lithium‑ion battery systems
• Electrical Engineer – BSEE strongly preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Experience working with international teams and manufacturers
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance processes (UL, CE, etc.)
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
