Lochner, an Egis company is recruiting for an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team. A Professional Engineer (PE) with 8+ years of experience with drainage design, scheduling and utility planning.

Your Impact
  • Conduct field visits to project sites to observe project conditions.
  • Produce highway drainage designs, models, calculations and Phase I Drainage Studies.
  • Produce drainage and utility plans.
  • Produce drainage schedules.
  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses.
  • Prepare drainage related regulatory permits.
  • Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants.
Who You Are
  • 8+ years of drainage design experience required
  • IL PE is required
  • BSCE is required
  • CFM is a plus
  • IDOT drainage design experience in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and stormwater modeling software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM and HY-8.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Ability to monitor project progress with respect to project budgets, scope of work, and schedules.
