Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Technical Support
We are currently seeking a Copier Technician who will also act as a Customer Support Representative for clients that are experiencing operating & maintenance issues with their office hardware equipment. We are eager to hire an individual who is ready for a challenging, rewarding, and long‑term engagement! In this position, the individual hired will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of office equipment by performing diagnostic tests to determine equipment issue and/or end user error.
Training with certification from a multinational conglomerate will be provided to the individual hired.
- Perform copier machine cleaning and maintenance.
- Run diagnostic tests to determine equipment issue and/or end user error.
- Verify equipment functioning properly by completing test initiatives and final adjustments.
- Assess and troubleshoot customer software and hard copy orders for production problems or issues.
- Service and maintain customer's digital office equipment (copiers) in assigned territory.
- Maintain assigned field stock and parts inventory.
- Complete document service actions - service forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Ownership for accomplishing new requests; exploring opportunities to add value to position accomplishments.
- Maintain and service company office equipment and color systems on customer premises.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Some experience with printer/copier required; additional paid training provided.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
- Must possess a reliable vehicle; will receive mileage reimbursement.
- Experience in finding resolutions to customer disputes.
- Experience in providing face‑to‑face and over‑the‑phone customer service.
- Possesses working knowledge of Windows Operating System, MS Office; MS Excel; opening, closing, and saving of electronic files.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and oral.
- Possesses a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and coachable.
- Willing to complete a criminal background check.
- Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
