Job Description

AECOM Hunt is looking to add a Digital Technologist professional (VDC/BIM) to our construction team in Chicago, IL, to support the ORD
21 Project.

Job Duties
  • Works with the VDC Project Manager and performs tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for work product.
  • Takes direction from the VDC PM.
  • Project Management Platform administration, training and reporting.
  • Creation of coordinated field drawings and MEP Coordination.
  • Lead project BIM coordination meetings to resolve issues.
  • Train and Mentor VDC Project Engineers.
  • Successfully plan and implements initiatives (tech or process) in a project, with pilot proof of concept, maintains and scales plan.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • BS Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the field of BIM/VDC for construction projects (vertical or horizontal) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in management model version history in Autodesk Forma, supplemental Revit Documentation and modeling as needed to support the field, as well as sheet set management in Autodesk Forma.
  • A high level of technical Revit skills including working with filters, parameters and annotations within an Autodesk Cloud Collaboration environment.
  • Experience in the management of intelligent 3D digital model data will enhance collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to run coordination meetings and translate model findings into actionable site tasks.
  • Strong organization and change management skills with a focus on quality, safety, and schedule.
  • Deep understanding of BIM processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively and efficiently across the project.
  • Strong Revit skills.
  • MEPFP coordination.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $74499.54 to $137824.15.
