For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Project Development to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track.

The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Energy & Utilities environment.

Location:

Chicago, IL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $225,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans and strategies while managing resources and budgets
  • Ensure project success by meeting scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction objectives
  • Nurture and enhance solid client relationships through effective project execution
  • Leverage engineering expertise to positively impact daily project progress and client interactions
  • Coordinate and oversee project activities from planning through to closure
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of project engineering or project management experience in packaging, automation, or life sciences
  • Experience with entire project life cycle, from concept to startup, is highly desirable
  • Strong engineering and project management skills, including expertise in machinery applications and organizational proficiency
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and computer skills are essential
  • Proficiency in project documentation is required
  • Leadership capability with a proactive approach to client development is key
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is mandatory; a Master's is preferred
