My client is a rapidly growing advanced energy and engineering technology company operating in a highly regulated industry. As the organization continues to scale its operations and commercial activities, they are seeking an EHS Lead to support environmental, health, and safety compliance initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities- Support environmental, health, and safety compliance programs across multiple projects and facilities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate and maintain permits, licenses, regulatory filings, compliance documentation, and required EHS records.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, procedures, work instructions, and training programs.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews, identifying risks and supporting corrective actions.
- Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and regulatory reporting as required.
- Monitor regulatory changes and support the implementation of new compliance requirements across the organization.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and project teams to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
- Support interactions with regulatory agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders, and assist in preparing reports, metrics, and presentations related to EHS performance.
- 8+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in a regulated industrial environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting permitting, compliance documentation, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS documentation systems.
- Experience with in nuclear, energy, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable.
