What You Will Do
As an HVAC Open Blue Service Expert, you will serve as a technical specialist responsible for advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and optimization of building control systems across complex customer environments. You will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, improving performance, and delivering a high‑quality customer experience through data‑driven insights and proactive service delivery.
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on building automation and controls systems across large or high‑complexity customer sites.
- Analyze system performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and deliver actionable recommendations to improve system efficiency, service delivery, and customer outcomes.
- Support commissioning, system upgrades, and integration activities as needed.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to both internal teams and external customers, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
- Apply deep technical expertise to resolve issues that may be loosely defined and require cross‑functional understanding.
- Continuously improve service methods, tools, and processes as part of day‑to‑day work.
- Ensure all work is performed in alignment with safety standards, company policies, and customer expectations.
- Strong experience with building automation systems, HVAC controls, or related technical fields.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in live customer environments.
- Experience analyzing data and using insights to drive performance improvements.
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of audiences.
- Solid understanding of operational practices and technical principles within control systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Johnson Controls systems and Open Blue platform capabilities.
- Experience supporting large, complex facilities or enterprise‑level customers.
- Familiarity with system integration, digital tools, and connected building technologies.
Some Travel Required based on customer needs.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $88,100 to $120,000. This role offers a competitive Bonus plan and a competitive benefits package.
