Key Responsibilities- Preliminary assessments
- Concept creation
- Lead designs with support from peers, subject‑matter experts, and BIM designers
- Internal and external problem resolution
- Drawing and specification production
- Customer and vendor accessibility
- Design wireless systems in iBwave and EDX
- Coordinate with BIM designers to create drawing packages
- Coordinate with AHJs, Radio System Owners, and carriers
- Create or modify DIV 27 specifications
- Conduct site visits
- Review technical documents
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience actively designing wireless telecommunications systems; systems include LMR 2‑way radio, Site Radio, and RoIP systems;
Public Safety DAS systems;
Commercial DAS systems (OTA, Neutral Host, DRAN) - Minimum 5 years of experience with iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner, or equivalent modeling programs
- Experience working with clients to identify wireless communication needs and troubleshoot field issues
- Understanding of noise floor, SNIR, return loss, and VSWR
- Ability to optimize networks during design and installation
- Thorough knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, NFPA 1225, IFC section 510, Carrier KPIs, IBC, FCC Part 20 and Part 90, FCC OET Bulletin 65, MOTOTRBO systems, Motorola R56 installation standards, and DMR Tier III
- Familiarity with Navisworks
- Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, and clients
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience responding to RFPs, creating project budgets, maintaining schedules, and mitigating company risk
- iBwave Level 2 Certification (required)
- Experience designing Wi‑Fi systems
- EDX or Motorola design certifications
- FCC GROL
- NICET Design Certification
- Multiple OEM product certifications
- Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering degree
- EIT or PE designation

Base salary range: $90,000.00 to $, determined by location and experience.
