Siting Specialist

Arcadis is seeking a mid‑level Siting Specialist to join our Energy Transition team. The role supports our expanding Siting and Routing business in the Midwestern and Eastern United States.

• Support routing and siting studies and state PUC siting applications.
• Prepare technical siting reports and collaborate with public outreach and permitting teams.
• Develop siting strategies and coordinate with clients to ensure successful outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in the growth of new and existing client relationships.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members such as ecologists, planners, engineers, and project managers.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, urban planning, GIS, engineering, biology, ecology, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in environmental planning and permitting.
• 2+ years supporting electric transmission line and substation siting projects in the Midwestern and Eastern US.
• Experience supporting CPCN filings in the Midwestern and Eastern US.
• Preferred: experience with state siting board filings outside the Midwest and Eastern US; statistical analysis and raster‑based siting studies.

The position offers a hybrid work structure with remote and office options. Periodic travel (10‑15%) is required. Salary range is $76,110‑$114,165.
