Job SummaryThe VDC Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes across multiple projects. The role collaborates with the Senior VDC Manager, project teams, and trade partners to ensure BIM execution plans are implemented effectively and that models support field coordination, scheduling, and quality construction.
Responsibilities- Supporting the development and implementation of project‑specific BIM Execution Plans
- Creating and maintaining detailed project models using Revit and other modeling software
- Leading model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews with project teams and trade partners
- Supporting reality capture and field layout workflows, including drones, 360 cameras, and point cloud scans
- Collaborating with the Senior VDC Manager to refine and maintain VDC standards, templates, and best practices
- Working with Construction Technology to align VDC workflows with field technology and project management tools
- Providing project team support and training on VDC processes and tools
- Participating in internal and external presentations, meetings, and client coordination efforts
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, FARO, Navisworks, and Procore BIM tools
- Proficiency with model‑based coordination, scheduling integration, and constructability analysis
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across departments and project partners
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
