Chicago, Illinois (Day 1 Onsite) Position:
Fulltime/Contract
Job Description:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. 5-10 years of work experience in a construction safety position. Specific training in OSHA safety requirements, First Aid, and CPR, if required. Good understanding & ability to enforce compliance with federal, state, local, & company regulations. Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures. Good knowledge of domestic safety standards.
Knowledge of and ability to understand and implement both operating and construction OSHA Standards.
Skills:
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to investigate/analyze critical situations in a professional manner
