Senior Product Design Architect, Advanced Architecture

Overview

As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you will be a member of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team. You use your creativity and range of engineering experience to explore solutions to a variety of engineering problems. You participate in the design, analysis, and prototyping of new concepts. You work in a manufacturing and product oriented development environment and collaborate with vendors and outside sources to see parts through to manufacture.

The Google Pixel product group focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful software and hardware experiences. Our Advanced Architecture team shapes the future of Pixel devices by developing advanced designs, materials, manufacturing techniques, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together Google’s AI with Pixel hardware to create transformative experiences for users worldwide.

As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you will lay the groundwork for future Pixel products. You will work with Product Management (PM), Industrial Design (), and our leadership team on new product definitions. You will discuss engineering trade-offs across multiple disciplines including antennas, cameras, sensors, displays, and batteries. You will partner with global product engineering teams to bring future products to market, provide ongoing support, and bring lessons learned back into the definition process of next-generation Pixel devices.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $159000 - $231000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
