Position Overview:

We have an immediate opening to join our Civil, Municipal, and Land Survey Group. The ideal candidate will provide production support for a variety of civil engineering and land development projects. This role involves preparing design and construction documents, offering technical support to staff, assisting in the development of CAD standards, and providing in-house Civil 3D training and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and edit civil design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including site grading, utilities, and stormwater systems.
  • Assist with stormwater management designs, calculations, and plan production.
  • Support project engineers in the development of construction documents for municipal and private projects.
  • Provide technical help desk support for design software and CAD-related questions.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD standards.
  • Conduct or assist within-house CAD training sessions for team members.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Technical Degree in Computer Graphics for Construction, Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
  • Experience with stormwater design and drainage system layouts strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of civil design and construction principles through education or work experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
