The selected candidate will support the development of various road-related and transportation projects across the country, with a focus on Illinois, Indiana, and Texas. A background in design, management, and pursuit of transportation-related projects, including roadways, trails, intersection design, and other related projects is ideal.
This opportunity allows the selected candidate to work as part of a broad national team with offices in Chicago, Denver, and the Dallas‑Fort Worth area (Denton, Texas). This role can be based in either Denton, Texas, or Chicago, Illinois.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Civil engineering plan review and development
- Project oversight
- Proposal Support
- Technical writing
- Staff management
- Budget and schedule management
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of civil roadway design experience
- Registered Professional Engineer
- A desire and ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and flexible work environment
- Ability to manage multiple long‑term projects and immediate tasks concurrently
- Ability to work well on teams and individually
