Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
The Electrical Gas & Liquids Engineer II is responsible for planning, design, operation, and reliability of electrical systems supporting natural gas, NGL, and liquid pipeline and facility infrastructure. This role requires extensive knowledge of pipeline and facility design codes and safety requirements, and effective communication and coordination with projects within scope.
Responsibilities- Design to client and regulatory requirements.
- Manage small to mid-size projects to schedule and budget.
- Keep management advised of all quality, schedule, and budget variances in a timely manner.
- Manage subordinate or other discipline resources to meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Prepare project documents and reports.
- Maintain project files.
- Create and enforce project quality plan.
- Data and document entry into various platforms.
- Report safety, health, and quality issues to management.
- Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- 3 years of electrical engineering design experience.
- Experience in oil & gas, midstream, utilities, or industrial facilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Moderate experience with Deltek Project Planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and/or Micro Station.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, AGA, API and other applicable codes and standards.
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 schedule analysis.
- Familiar with discipline‑specific design software and design management systems.
- Previous experience managing a large number of small deadlines.
- SKM and/or ETAP proficiency.
- I&C design experience.
- Instrumentation selection experience (PIT, TIT, FIT, LIT, etc.).
- P&t capability.
