- Repair, install, maintain, calibrate and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation
- Complete all required paperwork on new equipment inspections and equipment repairs and failures accurately and on time
- Properly maintain company issued equipment
- Maintain expected productivity according to productivity and billing requirements
- Stay current with new products and new technologies in the biomedical industry
- Communicate job status to management
- Strong demonstrable technical troubleshooting ability
- Working knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics and hydraulic theories and practices
- Understanding of and ability to operate specialized test equipment used on medical equipment
- Broad knowledge base of various hospital/homecare medical equipment
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with (MS-Windows, MS-Office Suites)
- Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results
- Physically able to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs., using small tools and BMET equipment
- Associate’s degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology (or successful completion of the military BMET school)
- Team player, highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong, consistent work ethic and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a high paced work environment
- Maintain high level of customer service
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving process improvements
- Experienced in servicing biomedical equipment, preferably in a field service environment.
