Pay range: $80,000 - $100,000
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering projects while serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This is a client-facing role that requires strong project management, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project execution from planning through delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and oversee engineering projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Prepare and present project status reports to internal leadership and clients.
- Foster effective communication among stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science/Engineering
- Minimum of 2-years of project management experience in an engineering environment, preferably electrical.
- Experience using Microsoft Project or other project scheduling and planning software.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of design procedures, quality standards, and DO-160 testing.
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Familiarity with engineering development life cycles, technical documentation, and project reporting.
