Overview

Mechanical Commissioning Project Manager – Mission Critical. Site based in Lubbock, TX or Buffalo, NY. Salary: USD 140,000 – 180,000 per annum + Bonus, Full Benefits. This role supports delivery of large-scale data center projects as part of a trusted owner’s representative and construction management consultancy focused on mission-critical infrastructure.

• Lead mechanical commissioning from planning through IST and handover
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, scripts, and schedules
• Oversee testing of HVAC, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC units, and cooling systems
• Manage integration with BMS and system controls
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA/QC, and industry standards
• Support client reporting and stakeholder communication

• 7+ years’ experience in mechanical commissioning (mission-critical preferred)
• Strong background in data centers or complex infrastructure projects
• Experience with HVAC systems, chilled water plants, and cooling distribution
• Familiarity with BMS and integrated systems testing (IST)
• Strong leadership and coordination skills across site teams
• Beneficial if:
  Degree or trade background in Mechanical Engineering, hyperscale data center experience
