Key Responsibilities- Assist with structural design for new construction, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects.
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Perform structural analysis using engineering software and hand calculations under supervision.
- Conduct site visits, structural assessments, and assist with construction administration.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, owners, and other design professionals.
- Design projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and cold-formed steel systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited);
Master s preferred. - 1-3 years of structural engineering experience.
- EIT certification or ability to obtain soon after hire preferred.
- Experience preparing construction documents and structural calculations.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Knowledge of steel and concrete design; wood, masonry, and cold-formed steel experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with RISA-3D, Tekla Tedds, RAM, SAP
2000, ETABS, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. - Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
