Stations​/Parking Project Manager

WSP is initiating a search for a Parking/Stations Program Manager in our Chicago, Illinois office. This role offers varied projects in the transportation facilities field mainly within the Chicago area with opportunities across the country.

• Effectively communicate projects’ goals and progress to multiple stakeholders.
• Provide effective leadership, bringing teams together to develop solutions that meet project needs and goals.
• Develop and assemble design teams, including visioning project approach.
• Plan schedules and budgets and ensure follow‑through.
• Communicate project status to Senior Management verbally and in writing.
• Utilize project management tools, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk registers.

• Transportation projects such as rail, bus, airports, and marine ports; facility building types including administration buildings, tolling structures, parking structures, bus and rail stations, maintenance facilities, ancillary buildings, vent buildings.
• Pre‑K through higher education school buildings.
• Traditional and Alternate delivery type projects.

• Build relationships with discipline leads within the Chicago office.
• Build relationships with Chicago Senior Management and clients.
• Lead the development of teaming arrangements and proposals.

• Bachelor of Architecture or Engineering with a focus on facility type experience.
• 12+ years of experience (at least 10 years of design, 8 years of project management).
• Project Manager experience on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Professional licensure (R.A.) in Illinois.
• Knowledge of state and city building codes.
• Experience assembling contract documents.
• Excellent communication and writing skills; well organized.
• Self‑starter, able to work independently.
• Responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, adhering to WSP’s Code of Conduct.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and compliance with WSP policies.

• Master’s in Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
• Experience in transit and rail station design, including familiarity with NFPA 130.
• Experience in facility design, design‑build project delivery method.
• Transportation industry experience.

Expected Salary: $157,500 - $233,860.
