Job DescriptionIntelligent Control sand Automation (ICA) technicians are being hired as skilledmembersofourwarehouseoperations teams. ICAtechniciansare responsible forenablingproductionthroughput, reducing equipment downtime,troubleshooting issues, eliminating defects,and building technical mastery.
They focuson initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, with the highest quality, and in a safe environment.
Theyhaveelectrical technical masteryin order to successfully troubleshoot problems and to proactively improve production systems.
ICAtechniciansperformvarious typesof work,such as:
- Operatingwarehouse automatedequipmentandprocesses
- Maintaining and troubleshootingwarehouse automation,process,andpower & controls equipment
- Using electricaltest equipmenttodiagnose electrical problems
- Performing preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
- Troubleshooting, monitoring, & programmingPLC,SCADA, and HMI systems
- Troubleshooting andmonitoringvariable frequency drives,servos, robotics
- Troubleshooting and repairingmachine and process control equipment
- Analyzing trends and technical data to gain insights of the controls andidentifyissues proactively
- Building technical skills in others
Requirements to Apply:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
- 2-year technical degree/certification in Industrial Electrical or related fieldoraequivalent experience of appliedelectrical and controlsskillsin an industrial environment
- Knowledge and practical application with some of the following technology areas:
PLC’s,HMI’s,processinstrumentation,machine control systems, variable frequency drives(Power Flex, etc.), servo drives,robotics,power distribution(
