Municipal Engineer

Job Title

Consulting firm looking to add a talented Municipal Engineer to their Chicago suburb office!

Responsibilities:
Participate in project planning/design process for municipal projects Assist municipal clients with asset management and long-range capital improvement planning for transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure Develop plans, specifications, project budgets and other related bid documents for civil engineering projects Assist with the evaluation/development engineering solutions Facilitate permits with regulatory agencies as needed Ensure engineering plans conform with local ordinances Attend municipal board meetings Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 5+ years of experience Municipalities experience preferred PE registration Experience with Microsoft software (Word/Excel) Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or ArcGIS preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
