Principal Engineer - Transport
We are looking for a Principal Engineer with 10-25 years of design and field experience.
Responsibilities include conducting field investigations, analysis and design, interacting with clients and other design and construction professionals, conducting forensic investigations and litigation support for expert witness services, performing business development tasks and developing a book of business, and performing all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
Qualifications include a minimum Bachelor's Degree, Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred, professional licensure/registration for the state of IL required, experience with AutoCAD and computer aided analysis/design of structures required and experience with BIM software a plus, strong oral and written communication skills, some travel to attend site meetings and perform investigations, and the ability to bring a book of work and clients to SOCOTEC and help us to grow the Chicago office.
Service sectors that include Infrastructure, Transportation, Geotechnical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Structural Dynamics will be those most strongly considered.
Position:
Full time
Salary: $150k-$225k
