Healthcare Assistant Chief Engineer

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. seeks a Healthcare Assistant Chief Engineer to support daily operations of a healthcare facility within a dynamic real estate portfolio. You will oversee building systems, lead a small engineering team, and coordinate contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations. Responsibilities include managing preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting regulatory readiness, optimizing energy performance, and responding to critical issues.

You'll collaborate closely with clients and JLL leaders, contribute to sustainability goals, and mentor technicians while upholding a strong safety and service culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of healthcare facility building systems and equipment
• Lead and mentor engineering and maintenance staff
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMSEnsure compliance with healthcare, safety, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors
• Support budgeting, cost control, and capital planning inputs
• Monitor and optimize energy use and sustainability initiatives
• Respond to critical building issues and emergencies
• Maintain documentation for inspections, audits, and regulatory surveys
• Partner with clients and JLL teams to meet service level expectations
