Roadway Engineer

Parsons is looking for a talented Roadway Engineer to join our Chicago Office. In this role you, will have the opportunity to support some of the region's biggest infrastructure projects working alongside a world-class team of engineers!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparation of plans, sketches, and details for transportation projects primarily involving roadways utilizing CADD and other technical tools.
• Assist with engineering calculations, material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Assist with the preparation of design, drainage, traffic, crash, and other technical reports including report text, exhibits, and other investigations.
• Provide input and technical knowledge to support other staff working on the same project including interaction with all levels of design professionals and disciplines.

What Qualifications You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Some related work experience and/or internships.
• Engineering In Training (EIT) Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
• Working knowledge or experience with CAD and other PC software packages typically associate with engineering.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
• Desire to continually improve skills.

Salary Range: $26.59 - $46.54
