• Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates for manufacturing process.
• Evaluate and calculate material, labor, equipment, and other costs to ensure comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to understand project scope, requirements, timelines, and customer expectations.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and reports, including cost breakdowns, assumptions, and potential risks.
• Review and update estimates to reflect changes in project scope, specifications, material pricing, labor rates, and market conditions.
• Maintain and utilize historical cost data to improve the accuracy and efficiency of future estimates.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain current and competitive pricing information.
• Support the sales team in preparing customer proposals, bids, and other pricing documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
• Identify and implement improvements to estimating processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency.

• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and managing estimates for projects.
• Experience with cost-estimating software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
