- Perform required duties as assigned under the supervision of the VP of Engineering.
- Provide design calculations for precast concrete products and components, including but not limited to connection designs and reinforcement detailing.
- Prepare formal, for-submittal calculations in accordance with applicable codes and regulations for customers and building officials.
- Work closely with project coordinators during the preparation of erection drawings to ensure accuracy and efficiency based on design calculations.
- Act as a liaison between the company and contractors, owners, architects, and erectors, in coordination with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator.
- Maintain awareness of project schedules across all phases to ensure internal and external stakeholder needs are met.
- Visit job sites and production facilities as needed to become familiar with production and erection procedures and to address any issues that arise.
- Provide timely field and production repair solutions as needed.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize design efficiency and cost.
