Field Theory is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician II to join our growing team of engineers. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual, willing to work in a fast-paced environment and skilled at handling multiple projects at any given time. This is a full-time position with a competitive market salary based upon experience. The position is only offered as fully onsite.

Candidates for this role must provide documentation of work authorization. We offer a robust benefit package including paid time off, healthcare and 401k benefits.

Responsibilities in this role include:
  • Collaborate with our engineering team for client projects
  • Identifying and resolving malfunctions in electronic equipment and systems
  • Assembling electronic systems and prototypes and cables for antennas
  • Solder small components such as 0201 parts and BGAs
  • Understanding of schematics and PCB layout
  • Assisting engineering team in troubleshooting devices for EMC / EMI issues
  • Creation of data reports
  • Creation of test procedures
  • Calibration of test equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance services for key systems
Qualifications:
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with capability of troubleshooting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to details as well as being self-driven and exceptionally organized
  • Minimum 3-year experience with Electronics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Associate’s degree, EET / MET Certifications, or electronics training (such as provided in the military)
