As a Lighting Design Intern at our St Louis or Chicago office, you’ll be surrounded by expert mentorship opportunities to help you thrive in your new career.
With direction from senior lighting designers, you’ll create MEP drawings with a focus on lighting systems for various building design projects using Revit and AutoCAD software.

Here’s what you’ll need- Working on obtaining a bachelors’ or degree from an accredited program in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- US Citizenship is required
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
- Basic knowledge of lighting design
- Basic knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD[RB6.1]
- Working knowledge of a lighting calculation software such as AGI
32 - Self-driven time management and organizational skills
