ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), wind, and hybrid energy facilities. This position manages projects from development and pre-construction through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial operation, with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, budget, and overall project performance. The role leads multidisciplinary teams and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from development through commercial operation, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams across construction, engineering, safety, quality, environmental, procurement, project controls, and commissioning.
• Manage EPC, engineering, supply, construction, and service agreements, including contract compliance, change orders, claims, and commercial matters.
• Own project schedule performance, including critical path analysis, milestone tracking, recovery planning, and schedule reporting.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, earned value, contingency, and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Lead project reporting, including weekly, monthly, and executive updates, KPI dashboards, performance tracking, closeout, and turnover records.
• Lead quality management activities, including inspections, non-conformance resolution, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
• Serve as a primary interface with utilities, transmission providers, engineering firms, contractors, equipment suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and drive performance against TRIR, LTIR, and environmental objectives.
• Support the recruitment and training of project personnel.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing utility-scale renewable energy, power generation, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Strong experience with project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, cost-to-complete, and project controls.
• Strong contract administration and commercial management experience, including EPC and related project agreements.
• Experience with project scheduling, risk management, performance reporting, and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint; experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Autodesk platforms is a plus.
• PMP and OSHA 30-Hour certifications are preferred; on-site construction experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel 25%-50% to domestic and international locations.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
