Role OverviewWe are seeking an Entertainment Wig and Hair Specialist to join our Entertainment team. This position reports to the Entertainment Director and works closely with performers to apply and maintain theatrical wigs and headdresses during rehearsals and live shows.
Responsibilities- Prepare theatrical wigs and hair styled to an approved design for performers.
- Restyle, maintain, and make adjustments to wigs according to the daily schedule for all shows.
- Assist performers in the application of wigs and headdresses during rehearsals and show runs.
- Apply and pin theatrical headdresses and wigs securely for performance.
- Support team members with headdresses, wigs, and quick changes during set‑up and run‑of‑show.
- Carry out additional tasks and projects as assigned by the lead hair artist or director.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment in accordance with health and safety policies.
- Repair, construct, clean, and prep wigs for the run of the show.
- Maintain documentation for maintenance and participate in rotation of duties as directed.
- Repack and store all headdresses and hair‑related items at the end of each show.
- Fast pace – able to move quickly and efficiently in high volume.
- Knowledgeable in application of theatrical headdresses and wigs of all sizes.
- Attention to detail – careful about quality of end product.

- Diploma in hairstyling or at least 3 years of relevant experience in theatrical wigs, hairdressing, and styling.
- Ability to wash, set, and recreate a style from a photo clearly and precisely.
- Hands‑on knowledge of appropriate styling tools and pinning techniques.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows.
- Experience in entertainment, film, theater, theme park or live events is a plus.
- Some travel may be required; use of personal vehicle may be requested.
- Must be able to work longer festival hours, which may total up to 12 hours onsite at times.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to stand for long periods. Tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments. May work in contrasting temperature climates and frequently travel to events during holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Salary Range$16.50 - $32.00 USD per hour (Hourly). The compensation is a good‑faith estimate for a Nevada applicant and may vary for positions located outside of Nevada.
