Job SummaryThe Merchandise Supervisor at Huntington Bank Pavilion oversees a team of merchandise specialists, ensuring inventory management, guest service, and compliance with Live Nation policies during concerts.
Objectives of the Role- Serve as liaison among Artist/Tour Representative(s), Venue Management, and Merchandise Specialists.
- Oversee a team of Merchandise Specialists to ensure an exceptional purchasing experience for guests.
- Act as brand ambassador for Live Nation, its sponsors, and the venue.
- Develop Merchandise Specialist schedule based on event projections.
- Oversee inventory count‑in and count‑out procedures.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the Merchandise Specialists team to support sales operations.
- Maintain clean, presentable merchandise stands and displays.
- Perform physical duties such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise.
- Complete required reports (pre‑show, post‑show, payroll) in a timely manner.
- Communicate with Venue Management and Merchandise Management team.
- Ensure team compliance with Live Nation policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Refined communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and guest‑centric.
- Team‑driven with advanced leadership abilities for training and mentoring.
- Basic business proficiency, including forecasting and timely reporting.
- Experience in event merchandising is desirable.
- Experience leveraging customer service or hospitality roles is also valuable.
- Prior experience is secondary to attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Available for the entire concert day, with shifts up to 15 hours (with breaks).
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to a 50‑pound box.
- Capable of working outdoors in potentially extreme temperatures.
- Proficient with touch‑screen based systems.
- Legally eligible to work in the state.
$18.00 USD – $22.50 USD hourly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
