** Purpose of the Role
** The Analyst, OPC Venue Management coordinates venue operations for the Obama Presidential Center (OPC), ensuring all requirements are documented and executed for internal, external, and public events.
As part of the Venue Management team, Analysts serve as Venue Managers for low-to-moderate complexity events and support senior staff on high-complexity programs. While event hosts lead content and vendor relationships, this role drives venue execution by maintaining accurate event data and executing operational plans through the Museum Event Order (MEO) process.
This role requires regular evening and weekend hours based on event schedules.#

Core Job Responsibilities Event Logistics & Coordination
* Support event intake and scheduling, including maintaining requests, tracking status, and updating event information within venue systems
* Assist in preparing and maintaining Museum Event Orders (MEOs) to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Support coordination with event hosts by maintaining event details and assisting with communication
* Review event information and flag risks, gaps, or inconsistencies for resolution
* Assist in coordinating with OPC Facilities, Security, and Visitor Experience teams to support event readiness

Event Execution & Onsite Coordination
* Serve as the Venue Manager for lower to moderately complex events and support higher-complexity events as needed
* Coordinate with OPC Facilities, Security, and Visitor Experience teams to deliver services in alignment with MEOs
* Partner with the event host, who onsite leads program content, attendee management, and vendor deliverables
* Monitor event spaces and operations in real time, including setup, transitions, and overall flow
* Identify and escalate operational issues as needed to maintain a seamless environment
* Support vendor activity onsite to ensure alignment with approved plans and OPC standards
* Deliver a high standard of hospitality that reflects OPC values, ensuring a welcoming and well-supported experience for all guests

Team & Operational Support
* Maintain accurate event data across systems (e.g., Infor, Asana)
* Track timelines, follow-ups, and task completion across events
* Support intake processes and ensure documentation accuracy
* Assist with cross-team communication and coordination
* Contribute to consistent execution by following established processes and standards# Key Deliverables / Outcomes
* Events are executed in alignment with approved plans and OPC standards
* Event details are accurate, complete, and well-documented
* Strong coordination across internal teams and stakeholders
