Customer Service Rep
Overview
O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring an Installer Service Specialist who will manage the delivery specialist activities and ensure professional customers receive accurate and timely deliveries. The role requires strong mechanical background, coordination of delivery vehicles, and customer‑facing service.
Responsibilities- Work with installers/professional customers to develop sales relationships.
- Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, and stage parts for delivery.
- Direct delivery specialists to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced, maintained, inspected, and mileage recorded daily.
- Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Sales Managers to provide superior professional customer service.
- Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store.
- Handle new core and warranty returns: pick up, credit, and process returns in a timely manner.
- Audit warranty returns for abuse and ensure returns are correctly labeled.
- Assist on front counter, retail counter, and backroom duties (auto‑load, returns, stock) as needed.
- Process customer labor claims quickly and efficiently.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Strong background in mechanics and above‑average communication skills. - Desired:
Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs, ASE Certification, and fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
- Pay range: $16.60 – $22.50 per hour (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
