Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica in Chicago seeks a Director of Music for part-time service, to lead the parish’s liturgical celebrations, accompany on piano and/or organ, and direct a volunteer choir.
You will collaborate with clergy and staff, plan music for Sundays and major feasts, and recruit and support volunteer musicians, with an emphasis on reading music and playing by ear across traditional Catholic and gospel repertoires.
