You have a clear vision of where your career can go. And we have the leadership to help you get there. At CNA, we strive to create a culture in which people know they matter and are part of something important, ensuring the abilities of all employees are used to their fullest potential. The Catastrophe Risk Management department is seeking an experienced Catastrophe Analyst to join a highly technical and dynamic team that is tasked with driving improvement in the company’s overall management of catastrophe risk.

If you are looking for a highly visible role that has a significant impact on the business, this position could be for you. We are searching for candidates that enjoy learning about catastrophes, how they impact CNA, and how the company can price and manage its risk to drive profitability. This role interacts frequently with Underwriting and Claims leadership, as well as other more technical groups.

The Catastrophe Risk Management group strives to be best in class by collaborating with senior leadership in developing strategic priorities, building tools and processes to facilitate the execution of those priorities, and reporting on the progress that is being made.
This position reports to the VP of Catastrophe and Exposure Management and will interact frequently with other team members and business units. You will provide sophisticated portfolio analytics that influence various risk management and pricing decisions. Working within the context of an insurance company, you will leverage your diverse set of skills to analyze and manipulate data, build and maintain tools, optimize processes, and communicate findings to property leadership.

Motivated, quick learners who possess a natural curiosity and an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences will excel in this role.
This position may work fully remote or hybrid out of a CNA office location depending upon candidate preferences, location and office capacity.
