The Position

Our banking client is seeking a Teller Manager in Chicago, IL. The selected candidate will oversee the Teller Department as part of the management team.

This role offers a salary of up to $60K and a comprehensive benefits package. (This is an on-site position).

  • Supervise the Teller Department.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs.
  • Implement controls to prevent fraud and losses.
  • Address procedural questions, interpret policies, and balance policy deviations with customer service and branch profitability.
  • Manage the image capture process and transaction file processing.
  • Ensure tellers comply with regulations, protect customer privacy, and minimize losses.
  • Interview, onboard, train, develop, and evaluate staff; schedule and discipline as needed.
  • Coach and develop tellers.
  • Perform teller duties when necessary.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of banking and operations management experience.
  • At least 3 years of teller experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
