About the Role
A confidential, multi-entity, technology-enabled organization is seeking an executive finance leader to oversee corporate accounting operations and lead financial integration for future acquisitions. This role is ideal for a CPA with a process-driven mindset, significant leadership experience, and a passion for building scalable, audit-ready financial infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead overall financial operations for a multi‑entity organization, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong governance across core accounting activities
- Oversee the timely preparation of financial information and enhance reporting visibility for executive leadership
- Strengthen internal controls and support the development of standardized financial policies and procedures
- Guide the financial aspects of organizational growth, including integrating newly acquired business units into existing processes and systems
- Partner with senior leaders to assess and streamline workflows, enabling better efficiency, scalability, and alignment with company objectives
- Manage consolidation activities and ensure completeness and reliability of financial results across the organization
- Provide strategic direction on financial systems and tools, with a focus on improving automation, structure, and operational efficiency
- Oversee treasury‑related matters, forecasting, and other financial planning activities to support sound decision‑making
- Serve as a key advisor to leadership on accounting matters, compliance requirements, and longer‑term financial strategy
- CPA required
- M&A experience requires
- Private-equity backed company experience required
- Minimum 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership in complex, multi-entity or large-scale environments
- Successful track record integrating multiple acquisitions of varied complexity
- Strong background in technology or subscription-based revenue environments; deep understanding of ASC 606 and software capitalization
- Proven experience optimizing close processes, building audit-ready environments, and standardizing financial systems and controls
- Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level initiatives and partner cross-functionally
