Join EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence – Sell Side team as a Senior Associate and work on complex, high‑profile divestitures across diverse industry sectors.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Support the execution of transformational deals, working as a team to solve complex challenges.
- Integrate into complex client teams, building and cultivating relationships.
- Assist with the preparation of carve‑out audited financial statements and related SEC filings.
- Collaborate with service lines such as International Tax, Transaction Services, and Valuation Modeling and Economics.
- Provide authoritative knowledge and insight on industry trends, technologies, and cash‑flow dynamics.
- Experience handling divestitures, including carve‑outs, spins and full‑enterprise sales.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational results of businesses to be sold.
- Ability to assist clients in the preparation of SEC filings.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and cash‑flow requirements.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to identify business and technical issues, develop points of view, and discuss with senior team members.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.
- Public accounting experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt quickly to new challenges.
- Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long‑lasting relationships internally and externally.
- Residence or commutable distance to the office location.
- Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.
- A proven record of excellence in audit and/or mergers and acquisitions transaction roles.
- An active CPA certification.
- Experience with in another large professional services organization.
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
- Knowledge of leveraging firm‑approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
- A comprehensive compensation and benefits package; base salary range U.S. wide: $96,800 to $159,600 (NYC metro and select coastal markets higher).
