Overview

Credit Sights is currently seeking an Operations/Compliance Associate based out of our Chicago office. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Credit Sights offers award-winning, unbiased research on global credit markets. We serve a diverse global institutional client base and are part of the Fitch Solutions Company. You will collaborate with seasoned analysts to deliver critical intelligence in complex financial markets and contribute to a dynamic environment that supports professional growth and innovation.

Bixby Research and Analytics ("Bixby"), a division of Credit Sights, is the leading private information provider in the $1.5+ trillion leveraged loan market. Since 2018, Bixby s SaaS platform has revolutionized how institutional investors consume information for private investments and is used by hedge funds and asset managers to stay ahead of competition.

• Daily Operational/Compliance procedures.
• Work closely with Compliance Manager and senior research staff to manage compliance programs and execute on associated operational processes and control systems.
• Document Management/Categorization.
• Review, revise, and continuously improve existing compliance programs, policies and procedures to identify risks and stay in line with mandated compliance policies.
• Ability to review your own work product to ensure accuracy and completeness in a time-sensitive environment.
• Permission management of document and site access.

• Bachelor’s degree required. A variety of educational histories will be considered, especially those with Accounting/Financial/Legal backgrounds.
• 2+ years of compliance and operational experience. Specific experience in finance / asset management is strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF skills required.
• Established skills in accuracy, organization, and experience working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to manage and execute challenging projects with minimal oversight.
• Possess strong organizational skills, sound judgment and high ethical standards.

• Prior experience with virtual data rooms is preferred.
• General understanding of financial markets is preferred.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $67,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
