Role OverviewOur Quantitative Traders aim to improve the global economy by facilitating risk transfer and stabilizing prices. As a Senior Trader, you will work with teammates to eliminate market inefficiencies and manage risks, utilizing the resources and capital of our firm to enhance your trading strategies. The ideal candidate will have proven success, niche expertise, and excellent risk management skills.
Responsibilities- Apply expertise in relative value market fundamentals, quantitative modeling, and risk management within the Chinese commodities sector
- Develop and maintain quantitative models and analytical tools
- Oversee real-time trading execution
- Collaborate with team members to refine strategies and share insights
- Mentor junior traders and support their learning
- At least 4 years of experience trading Chinese commodities and relevant industry knowledge
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Financial Engineering, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or related fields
- Deep understanding of the Chinese futures market structure
- Passion for financial markets, trading, and finance
- Strong skills in finance, mathematics, and statistics
- Attention to detail and sound judgment under pressure
- Strong work ethic and commitment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Consistently profitable trading strategy across markets and assets
- This role requires physical presence at our Chicago office
