Finance & Accounting Associate - Private Equity

Well-established lower middle-market private equity firm with approximately $2B in assets under management is adding Finance & Accounting Associate to their Finance Team. Headquartered in Chicago’s Loop, the firm offers a highly collaborative environment and meaningful exposure to the full private equity platform.

• Partners closely with the Controller and CFO
• Hands on involvement across fund accounting, financial reporting, investor relations, and management company operations.
• This position offers broad visibility, hands-on responsibility, and strong long-term growth potential within the finance organization.

• 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA and/or experience in public accounting or private equity is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working in cloud-based environments

• Fund accounting and financial reporting across multiple private equity funds
• Investor relations support, including capital activity, reporting, and data room materials
• Cash management and coordination with banking and service providers
• Accounting, budgeting, and operational support for the management company
• Ongoing process improvement and ad hoc projects in partnership with senior finance leadership
