We’re seeking a Staff Account to assist our Corporate Accounting Department with maintaining financial records and creating quarterly/annual financial statements.
Essential Job Functions:- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, fluctuation analytics, federal income taxes and other financial reports necessary for quarterly SEC and management reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory filings.
- Assist with the preparation of annual audited statutory financial statements.
- Record journal entries to general ledger.
- Prepare management reports.
- Prepare bank account reconciliations.
- Prepare AP entries for invoice processing.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Strong planning and organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task paired with superior time management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to concisely present information to management or other audiences.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
